India witnessed except a few states and districts are fighting against the coronavirus epidemic. The cases of Covid-19 are increasing high after implementing major steps to cure it. 

As of 24th March 2020, Prime minister of India announced that a complete lockdown for 21 days across the country to stop the spread of Coronavirus but due to excessive rise in COVID 19 patients this is extended till the 3rd May on 14 April 2020.

During the lockdown, to make the proper supply of essential goods and services the government has issued E-pass. Any movement apart from essential goods and services is not allowed during the lockdown. These steps are taken to control the situation of the country. 

To ensuring the less traffic, followup of social distancing in community, and less movement of people on the road each state government issued a curfew pass(E-pass) for those who are being involved and provide essential services during the lockdown.

Those who need an e-pass for urgent movement can apply for the same. Every state government has launched the service through its website.

These pass facilities are only available to people who are involved in any of the main services declared by the government to Covid19.

Applicants Name – Actual Name which is mention in identification card.

Vehicle registration Number i.e. called RC

Recent Photographs – Latest Updated Passport size Photo

Letter of Authorization – Issued by Company where you employed and provide services to them

• Visit the official websites of state and union territory
• Select the E-pass option and fill the required details i.e. name, address, mobile number, vehicle number, valid Id, city, or districts after OTP verification.
• Upload the supporting documents and click submit.
• Check the status of the application after complete the submission of details.

People can also apply through Whats app for corona curfew e- pass during the lockdown on the mobile number issued by the state government.

Apply for Corona virus Movement pass through mail

People can apply through the mail for Epass in Delhi at ddma.delhi@nic.in. for applications to send all the related documents attached with the mail. After the successful completion of details verification, your valid pass will be sent to you over mail. This pass is valid only for essential goods and services purposes and for whom you apply. Misuses of the pass is a punishable offense.
